Usually we do not register domain names, unless somebody explicitly
wants that service. START V2 operates out of softconf.com, which
provides submission/review/registration services for hundreds of
conferences each year.

These conferences usually register their own domain names, and get
web space for their static content. By "static content", I mean
the conference home page, the call for papers, and so on. Since
the conference organizers prefer to control this sort of content
on their own, we usually don't have to get involved in that
activity.

Then, on the home page, there is a link to the submission/registration
page at softconf.com (which we create for you). The active content -
submissions, reviews, etc. - is controlled by START, running at
softconf.com.

That's the way the work-load is typically partitioned. Your side
would manage the static content, and we manage the abstract/paper
submission processes.
